“I just got a shot here inside my house,” published the victim, who then requested help from a man nearby her residence, located on Quinta Avenida, in the resort of Guriri.

The reaction of the people viewing the posting Edna was varied. While some wanted an explanation of what she posted, other people ‘liked” the information that the victim shared on the social network.

Edna was executed with two shots from a .38 revolver; one hit the left side of her chest and the other hit her in the head. The victim then called an acquaintance for help and commented on her social network profile. The text had more than a thousand shares, but was then deleted.

Target was her sister

The man who helped the victim told police that a black man left the house and got into a dark car, which was parked in front of Edna’s residence. The suspect then fled the scene.

Police said that Edna died after being confused for her sister, who informed the police that the killer was there to kill her. The woman, who is not being identified for security reasons, told the police, “He came here after me and not my sister.”

Edna’s body is being taken to the city of Tucuruí, in the southern state of Pará, where her family lives. The victim’s notebook and cell phone were found and are in the Departamento de Polícia Judiciária (DPJ or Judicial Police Department) of São Mateus.

Family

The victim’s brother, José Antônio Souza de Oliveira, who lives in Pará, spoke by phone with a G1 (news agency) reporter and said he does not believe that the other sister is the target of criminals. “It is possible that in a moment of despair, she had said this, but we don’t believe in this line of investigation. My sister is a quiet person. Nobody knows what happened. I’m going to Espírito Santo to follow the case. I want the facts to be clarified. What we want is justice,” said the victim’s brother.
